Traveling day fifteen - we drive to Bishkek

Today we drove to Bishkek.

A seven hour drive.

That's pretty much what we did today.

Apart from finding our backpacker's in Bishkek - where 'backpackers' means 'private apartment with spare beds'. Interesting.

It is the spring festival tomorrow - we are hoping to find some action downtown and also spend some time with people who have lived here a long time, who Chris and I met last time we were here.

Onwards.

  1. Hi there Catriona. I followed a link from Inner Pickle to your blog. I have thoroughly LOVED reading about your trip (which I just did in one sitting - once I started how could I stop). You are one inspirational lady. Truly, I want to hug you! Keep safe and keep up the amazing work. Cheers, Michelle
